Learn basic hand-building skills to make a mug without the use of the potter’s wheel. This class will also cover how to pull and attach a handle as well as how to add surface treatment techniques. By incorporating your favorite textures and patterns you can create a unique one-of-a-kind mug that reflects your own personal style. No prior experience with clay is needed. Pieces will be glazed, fired, and ready for pick up or shipment one week from the class date.

Learn basic hand-building techniques to make your own incense burner from clay slabs that will hold cone or stick incense. Instruction on various surface treatment options will be covered. No prior experience with clay is needed. We will glaze and fire your piece for pickup (or ship for an additional fee) within 1 week after your class.

Learn some basic hand-building techniques to make your own fun and modern refrigerator magnets. Students will use a variety of stamps and cutouts, and magnets will be decorated with underglazes to add bright pops of color. No prior experience with clay is needed. Pieces will be glazed, fired, and ready for pick up or shipment one week from the class date.
